What did you think of NYLD 2015. Give your opinion and reasons why you hold these opinions (at least 4 sentences).  it explains a lot about things we should do in life and what you shouldn’t do in life. It teached us to do charity for the homeless and how some of the homeless have diseases that could kill them. what you do now affects your future. Always look at the bright side if there is one. it was fun because we got to play really fun games.

Who was your favourite speaker and why? (Describe in at least 4 sentences). Phoenix Puleanga.
A 13 year old hip-hop dancer Trained by his brothers Hip-Hop crew. He became a successful Hip-Hop dancer after a while. It took a lot of training I don’t know if it was hard for him. He can do a barrel roll back flip easily.

What have you learnt about being a leader? (At least 4 sentences). it explains a lot about things we should do in life and what you shouldn’t do in life. It teached us to do charity for the homeless and how some of the homeless have diseases that could kill them. what you do now affects your future. Always look at the bright side if there is one.

How could you use this learning here at school? (At least 4 sentences) Not just caring for yourself. looking out for others. As in taking care of eachother. example see a lonely kid sitting down alone and crying ask what's wrong and he/she might tell you what is wrong and if you have no one to play with ask if he wants to play with you. then a friendship is made.

Action points - something I am going to work on (a goal) from NYLD: Not just Caring for Myself caring for Others

My favourite quotes were (remember to say who said them): !!All Pation No Limits!! William Pikes said those words.

  1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about your Young Leaders day Jack. I like the 'what you do now affects your future.' We are inclined to live just for today aren't we, but it's good to try to see who you want to be in the future and start right now to begin to build that vision.
I look forward to watching you put those leadership building blocks in place Jack!
